Hi, I'm Caitlin. I'm a PhD researcher based in London. I am an Artificial Intelligence (AI) & Machine Learning (ML) Programmer focussed on AI in drug discovery. I have >5 years experience teaching English to students across the globe, with a specific focus on Technology & Scientific English.
I have a neutral British accent and can tailor lessons to suit your needs, your specific areas of interest and your scientific discipline. My favourite topics of discussion are AI/ML, deep learning, biology, health & health tech, software engineering, academic research and scientific discoveries. I really enjoy my conversations with Caitlin. She does a great job facilitating and always offers interesting topics to discuss. In this lesson, she also gave me the opportunity to listen to longer, structured stories from a native speaker. She provides corrections and new vocabulary in every lesson. Thank you!

I needed to prepare for a job interview and it was my first time using italki. Caitlin was just amazing – she answered all my questions in a chat (I had a lot of them! XD), during the lesson gave me concrete examples what and why to say, a few life-hacks and overall was really nice! This lesson was really helpful and I am definitely much more confident I can actually do this :) Absolutely recommend Caitlin, you won't regret it 👌🏻
