I live in Nagano, Japan.
My hobby is traveling. I've been to Canada, the US, China, the Philippines, Vietnam, Thailand, and Indonesia. In Japan, I love visiting breweries, wineries, and hot springs.
I also love anime and manga, and watch them often.
I also make MIZUHIKI accessories.
I am curious and would love to share your experiences with language, culture, hobbies, etc., so you can have fun learning Japanese with me!

趣味は旅行です。海外ではカナダ、アメリカ、中国、フィリピン、ベトナム、タイ、インドネシアに行きました。日本ではブルワリーやワイナリー、そして温泉をめぐるのが大好きです。

I majored in Japanese language education at my university. Since graduating from university, I have been teaching Japanese in China for three years and in Japan for over 17 years, including online.
I love teaching Japanese. I can teach conversation, composition, kanji, test preparation, business Japanese, pronunciation, anything.

I can teach at any level, from beginner to business level. I teach in Japanese according to the learner's level, so even beginners can learn with confidence. I had to teach them from beginner level Japanese and let them pass college and graduate school. So I learned how to teach to pass the Japanese language exam, how to write a letter of reasons for applying for graduate school, how to choose a school, etc.

Full-time lecturer, Head of TeachingI also taught Japanese at a Japanese language school in my hometown of Nagano. In addition to teaching Japanese, I also taught everyday life and part-time jobs. I also served as head of teaching, managing other teachers and schedules, and planning and managing events.

Head of teaching, PrincipalAtago Japanese Language School is a Japanese language school that opened in 2019. I was hired there as head of teaching and then principal. While teaching Japanese as a teacher, I strongly felt my responsibility as a principal as a company that runs schools and schools. My first lesson with Maki went so well! She was very patient and understanding. I've studied Japanese before and she was so kind about everything I've forgotten and came up with a plan for helping me re-learn and improve. I'm looking forward to my next lesson!

I'm having so much fun learning learning with Maki sensei! I feel really good when I study my homework and come to class prepared. I am still training my ear to comprehend, but I can tell there is improvement and the time it takes me to understand is shortening over time. I'm grateful to have such a good and patient teacher!

Maki-sensei is always very patient as I try to express myself and is very helpful. I'm learning so much each session and am feeling much more confident in using what I know. I'm more comfortable in making mistakes because I know she'll help me find what I'm trying to say.
