We are truly impressed with Lydia's teaching skills. She is undoubtedly one of the best teachers we've ever come across. Lydia has been instructing our boys since last year, and we've noticed a remarkable boost in their confidence. Each session with Lydia is brimming with laughter, and our children thoroughly enjoy every moment of it. Lydia stands out as an outstanding educator, showcasing creativity, patience, interactivity, child-centered teaching, and excellent preparation. She possesses the ability to motivate children to speak more, all while keeping them engrossed with her captivating games. We feel incredibly thankful to have Lydia as our children's teacher and wholeheartedly recommend her!

I started studying Chinese with Lydia over a year ago and she is the best Chinese tutor I have ever had. In particular, my ability to speak and listen in Chinese have improved hugely and I have much more confidence and motivation than ever before. Lydia uses a variety of techniques and resources to keep our lessons fresh which are always fun and easy to follow. She uses informal conversation to encourage me to practice speaking in a comfortable environment; this also enables her to personalise my learning towards topics that are most relevant to me and my goals. In our structured learning, she is always able to explain complex concepts using simple and creative examples. She is diligent in checking my understanding and is always patient and willing to clarify anything I am struggling with. Our lessons pass so quickly and I look forward to every one. I cannot recommend her more highly. Thank you for reigniting my passion for learning Chinese and for being such a wonderful teacher!

I've been studying with Lydia for over a year now, and I can easily say it was one of the best decisions I've made to improve my Chinese. From the start, Lydia has been extremely adaptable to my individual needs as a student, and has continuously made an effort to keep the material fresh, interesting, and suitable to my learning level in each lesson. When I first started learning with Lydia I could mostly just repeat fixed phrases in conversion, but after a year I've become much more comfortable speaking Chinese than I ever thought possible. Her encouragement and gentle corrections have pushed me to constantly make improvements and redouble my efforts outside of class. I can wholeheartedly recommend Lydia to anyone who would like to take their Chinese to the next level.

Had a great class with Lydia, as always. She has a different method to help me learn Chinese better. Today, we played a game that helped me differentiate between left and right more effectively.
