Célia is the best language tutor I’ve ever had. Every time we meet we have an interesting and easygoing chat. She focuses on the conversation rather than pedantically calling out every problem, while still offering plenty of helpful suggestions and corrections when it makes sense and feels natural. She is also very patient and gives me the time to formulate a thought or trickier sentence and I never feel pressured. Very happy to have found Célia and I look forward to many more lessons!

Célia is a wonderful teacher, and one I would unreservedly recommend. I've completed 7 lessons with her to date and in each she has been encouraging, knowledgeable and supportive. She has an excellent understanding of all of the complexities of French, and is very good at clarifying and elucidating them. I came into classes with Célia searching for a professor who could help me with reading old French texts. I have been trying to achieve this through other classes and tutors, but none have risen to the task as well as Célia. Her knowledge of the language, including its historical iterations, evident in her love and comprehension of literature, meant she was able to immediately adapt to my specific language acquisition needs. I've really enjoyed my lessons, and intend to continue. In particular, if you have any wish to learn about French literature or history I think she is an exemplary choice, but even if your needs are more straightforward you would still gain a lot from her tuition.
