My name is Élise, I come from a very small town in France named Poitiers. Learning languages is a passion of mine, I currently speak 4 and I am learning Italian as well.
Sometime between 3 and 4 is when it all became clear for me.
I have a dog named Sibyl that sleep most of the time, the rest of the time she asks for food or we go on walks. You might occasionally see her during my classes.
My classes always happen in the afternoon (Lisbon time) because in 2021 I made the decision to go back to school, so my mornings are dedicated to that.ฉันในฐานะผู้สอน
As a teacher I use the same techniques I use when I want to learn a language. There is 1 secret about learning a language : practice, practice, practice.
I know it's nothing new but it works. During our first classes I will help you set up a daily home practice focused on the 4 skills of a language: reading/ writing/ listening/ speaking.
I will also share with you a file that I keep updated regularly about French movies, TV shows, series, documentaries, podcasts to watch. Learning a language is also learning about the culture.
I am pretty laid back and rather talkative but I will make sure you have results and that the practice is enjoyable for you.บทเรียนและรูปแบบการสอนของฉัน
Anyone learning French or any other language have a similar objective : being able to understand a francophone and express themself with ease. It is not everyone's objective to become a linguist.
To that effect we do need to talk about the G-word. Grammar, yes grammar is important for you to understand on a surface level, what is most important though is for you to apply it correctly and that will happen with practice and correction from me.
My beginner- intermediate classes are split in 2 parts: technique and practice. Each class we will practice French without fail

Elise is a great teacher! She is very organized provides structured materials and homework to reinforce grammar concepts. The topics in the reading and homework are interesting so I do not get bored.
