Hello and welcome
My name is Ricardo, I am from Santa Cruz, Bolivia in South America. I am a certified Spanish teacher with 2.5 years of experience teaching individual and group classes. I teach online and in person. Currently I run my own Spanish School for students who want in person classes.
I´ve studied Environmental Engineering, love to travel, learn languages, swim and do yoga.
I´ve taken courses about customer service, graphic design, and Web development. Besides, I am a freelancer translator.ฉันในฐานะผู้สอน
Teaching online, it´s a great experience that allowed me to meet people from all over the world, something I never thought would happen but it is beautiful and I feel very blessed. I love to share my culture, stories, legends, food recipes, and many other things.
My classes are based on different methodologies and approaches that adapt to your goals and needs.
I like to create my own material that is fun and engaging:
- I do exercises with scripts from movies like "Yes, man", and "No se aceptan devoluciones".
- Examples of these exercises are
--- Difference between the simple past (estuve) and imperfect (estaba) tense.

- Youtube videos, audio, dialogues (like, shopping in a store, booking a plane ticket, giving and asking for directions, and many more) also interactive exercises (where you can repeat your mistakes, important to help you move forward). Examples of these activities you can find on my webpage.
I want to emphasize that I have specialized in teaching grammar, structure, and conversation for beginner and intermediate levels.
For advanced levels

I have been learning Spanish for 8 years because I have relatives from Bolivia. My current level is B2/C1 and at this point in my language journey I need to learn more about the culture and jargon of Santa Cruz, Bolivia. Ricardo is exactly what I need right now! He is extremely knowledgeable, patient and positive. In addition, he creates custom activities to help me progress. Our time in classes flies by; they are always engaging, helpful and fun. He also has a strong internet with high quality video and audio with little to no background noise (I have a hearing impairment so clear audio with no distraction is essential). I highly recommend him!

I like to learn Spanish based on conversation, with better grammar and a larger vocabulary flowing from the interaction. Ricardo is of great aid in this process. His understanding of both Spanish and English is so good that the talk keeps going as I learn new words (or am reminded of old ones). He is very interested in teaching and this reinforces my grammar. When Ricardo recognizes a need for review, he devises exercises that help me remember verb forms. For example, he transcribed dialogue from a comedy movie that was in the present tense; I revised it, speaking in the past tense. He included photos from the film and other visuals, making it a very entertaining way to get more adept at Spanish. I am happy to recommend Ricardo as an excellent tutor.
