Hi there! I’m Randal, a native English speaker from the U.S., based in Buenos Aires.
I work with intermediate and advanced learners who want to speak more naturally and express themselves more clearly. Many already have a good level, but still struggle to communicate their ideas comfortably. They hesitate, translate in their head, or feel like they don’t sound like themselves.
This is where I come in. I help people move from understanding English to actually using it in a more natural and confident way.
My approach is based on using the language in context, so you’re not just learning rules or random vocabulary, or talking about things that don’t interest you. You focus on what you care about and on finding ways to say what you want to say.
This comes from my own experience. Once I had the basics, I struggled to improve because I relied on memorizing rules out of context and vocabulary I didn’t actually use. I lost sight of what learning a language is really about, communicating with other people.
Things changed when I started speaking more and learning through real situations. When I could see how everything connected, it became much easier to understand and use.
My classes are relaxed but focused. I want students to feel comfortable and able to speak without worrying about every little detail or how they sound. Letting go of that fear is an important part of improving.

I've been working with Randal for more than a year, and I’ve made great progress in my English. Randal is a very interesting person with many hobbies, so it's always engaging to talk with him.
We review different topics based on my interests, such as cinema, traveling, cars, cooking etc. Randal always prepares well for our lessons and provides great learning materials, including vocabulary lists and video content.
We discuss these materials together, and he corrects my pronunciation and sentence structure, while also teaching useful phrases and slang.
I recommend him wholeheartedly :)
