Hi there! My name is Simon, I'm 25 years old and I'm a CELTA-certified teacher from Toronto, Canada. I'm passionate about teaching, languages, history, cultures, and spirituality, and hold a bachelor's degree in Linguistics and History with a minor in English from the University of Toronto. One of my favourite pastimes is learning languages, and as of right now I've achieved an advanced level in Spanish, a conversational level in Portuguese, and have managed to grasp the basics of a few more. I also love travelling and meeting new people, spending time with my family and friends, having philosophical discussions, going for long walks, listening to all kinds of music, and singing at karaoke.
As an CELTA-certified teacher with over 4 years of experience, I've helped countless students around the world reach their learning goals and improve their confidence in using English. As an avid language learner myself, I know perfectly well how scary and difficult learning a new language can seem, so my goal is that you feel as comfortable as possible when using English. Whether you're looking for a more structured lesson, or are just looking to have a chat, our classes will always be very relaxed, so that you can learn and practice without pressure. I'm very patient, and love to meet new people and learn about different subjects, so I'm sure we'll always have something to talk about!
