Hello everyone! 안녕하세요 여러분! My name is Maleah (말리아) but you can call me Mia (미야). I am originally from Florida, but I am now living in Alabama in the United States. I graduated from Faulkner University in 2017 with a Bachelor of Science in Counseling Psychology. I’m currently working on an Master of Science in Clinical Mental Heath with emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy . As a language learner in Korean (한국) and Spanish (español), the greatest factor in my continued learning was having regular refresher lessons and being able to talk in those languages with people who were native or also learning the languages I was studying.ฉันในฐานะผู้สอน
You might be wondering what qualifies me to teach and tutor you. I truly believe that the best way to stick to your studies, especially concerning language learning, is to have a friend from that background.
My other qualifications are...
- that I am a native English speaker with no accent but I have lived in places with strong accents.
- I have tutored high school students in English and Comprehension and I am very patient.
- I am a fellow language learner. I see that as a big advantage because I can closely relate to the frustrations that can cause learners to get tired and want to quit and help you push past it.

Maleah is a best teacher I ever had. The lessons prepared me for my test and I could learn without effort. She has this method (I guess because she is a psychologist) that teaches through explanation and examples. And at the end I know the stuff and even didn’t learn like before. Also I was corrected and thought the right pronunciation (we repeated the words til I got it right what I really appreciate). And the correct sentence building. All in a relaxed but powerful way. Thank you! I highly recommend Maleah for any kind of lessons because she recognizes the points and knows to combine all what the student needs to learn. Thank you again!

She is not only an incredible teacher she is also such a great person. By the end of our first lesson I felt completely comfortable and I was truly having fun talking to her. I’ve learned so much wisdom from her and I’m very grateful for having her as a teacher❤️

It was like always so interesting conversation. i learn a lot about american school system and culture from this conversation. and i learn new words and the Teacher explains words to me and all is so structured. i m looking forward to my next lesson.
