Rey is a friendly, encouraging, patient teacher who is always professional, punctual, constructive and conscientious. I highly recommend him for multiple classes over a sustained period. He really helped me. I tried two other teachers on iTalki, and he was the best.

I have been with him for over a year, and he's been instrumental in improving my spanish. At first, we went over basic stuff and the various verb tenses. Now we talk about our weekends and movies, and I bring him questions for clarification, like the difference between morder and dar una mordida.

Just finished my trail lesson with Rey and he made the whole experience very comfortable for me. I was able to follow along when he spoke Spanish, he gently corrected me, and he broke the concepts down in a way that was understandable for me. I just booked my next lesson and I’m looking into booking the bundle to keep learning consistently!!

Rey is a great teacher. He covers a lot of content in a short time while keeping it easy to understand and applicable to use immediately. He switches briefly to English to help explain while seamlessly switching back to Spanish to keep the lesson feeling fully immersed but allowing me to still be able to follow along. Thank you Rey!

I just completed my trial lesson with Rey and it was great! He asked me a bunch of questions to get to know me and used my answers to dive deeper into specific topics. He corrected my errors gently and gave me things to work on before the next class. Overall great experience!!

This was my first class with Rey! Although we initially had some difficulties with the internet connection, we turned off our cameras and were able to continue the conversation. Rey was very friendly, professional, and encouraging. He was able to identify the main areas I need to focus on, which include my use of prepositions and my ability to use different grammatical forms (subjuntivo, etc.). He recommended the type of class he felt was most appropriate for me (informal conversation). I look forward taking more classes with him in the future!
