I’m Samkeliso Khoza, a medical doctor from South Africa with a deep passion for language, culture, and human connection. I’m fluent in seven of South Africa’s twelve official languages, including isiZulu, isiXhosa, and South African Sign Language (SASL).
I offer engaging, conversational online lessons in English, isiZulu, and Sign Language, tailored to your goals—whether you’re a complete beginner or looking to build confidence in real-life communication. My teaching style is relaxed, supportive, and practical, making lessons feel more like a meaningful conversation than a classroom.

I am an approachable, attentive, and passionate teacher who prioritises creating a supportive learning environment. I make sure my learners have the guidance, resources, and encouragement they need to progress with confidence. I believe that one of the most effective ways to learn a language is through active practice. For this reason, my lessons are designed to give learners plenty of time to speak, sign, listen, and apply what they’ve learned in a supportive environment.
My lessons are conversational, engaging, and enjoyable, because learning happens best when students feel relaxed and confident. I’m also mindful that learners have different learning styles—some are visual, others auditory—so I adapt my approach and use a variety of resources to suit each learner’s needs.

Sam is honestly just a delight! It's so inspiring to be taught and listen to someone who has such a fundamental understanding of the structure of language and grammar.
