Are you under the impression that standard French and spoken French in Quebec are two different things? Whether you are planning to visit, to work or to live in Quebec, I can help you with having conversations, performing in a job interview, talking to colleagues and customers, or even developing your business in Quebec by, for example, facilitating the cold call process. I have worked in Sales and Marketing in Canada, USA, and Europe for more than 18 years and I totally understand the importance of being able to exchange information and ideas with others verbally.

Born in Quebec, I am a French native speaker. Quebec being an island of French in an ocean (North America) of English speakers, the necessity of learning another language was soon an evidence. I know what it is to learn a language; the difficulties, and the frustrations that one can have. But I also know how fun, rewarding and fulfilling it could be. My method is based on those three feelings to make sure we progress towards your own goals while keeping you fully motivated.

My lessons are based on your own goals and not planned according to the same cursus for every student. Through simple conversations and basic questions, you will learn while getting confident when speaking French. My goal is not for you to learn a long text by heart, I want you to own your new knowledge and be able to use it everyday. No traditional homeworks: only shared documents about important words and concepts that we went over so you can practice until the next lesson. Wait no longer to book a trial lesson with me!

I’ve just had a trial lesson, and I’m impressed how well-prepared and organized she is. She also knows how to manage time wisely in the short half an hour as well as what’s most needed and appropriate for me to learn, and takes an initiative to lead the lesson. It had a good structure. She also gave me a very easy-to-understand explanation on the word usage, the difference in expression (especially in contrast to English), and grammatical cues. That tells me she’s an experienced, knowledgeable teacher. Very professional. She’ll be very helpful even if you don’t know where or how to start your lesson. :)
