I was raised in the Bay Area of California, just south of San Francisco. After studying graphic design, I worked for a newspaper company in Oregon for a few years. In 2018, I left the US and moved to Mexico, where I invested in farming blue agave.
I love exploring the outdoors, hiking, camping, and water rafting, but my favorite activity is traveling. So far, I've visited five countries and plan to move to Turkiye in August. I enjoy uploading my travels to my YouTube channel. Video editing is a new hobby of mine.

I took a long time to write this review, mostly because I didn’t want everyone to discover how amazing Allex is as a teacher. But I can’t keep it to myself any longer. Alex is an excellent teacher! He always knows how to help you get your pronunciation just right. On top of that, he’s patient, charismatic, friendly, and you can chat with him about a wide range of topics. Gracias Allex!!

I’ve been working with Allex on accent reduction, and I can’t recommend him enough. He is incredibly supportive and gives truly practical advice on pronunciation. Allex has a great eye (and ear!) for subtle details I would have never noticed on my own, and he explains everything in a way that’s easy to understand. Highly recommended!

Alex is engaging, interactive, supportive and very friendly teacher. He is a kind man who easy to keep a conversation going with. Each lesson goes this way: free talk (he identifies weak spots), then we work on them by drilling certain sounds and then wrapping up and homework. Totally recommend.
