I’m Victor Li, a dedicated and enthusiastic Chinese language teacher with 15 years of experience in helping students master HSK exam preparation, Business Chinese, and everyday conversational fluency. My teaching philosophy revolves around not just language acquisition but also fostering a deep appreciation for Chinese culture, which I’ve cultivated through my extensive travels across the globe. My lessons:Before class, we will review the content learned in the previous lesson. During class, I will patiently encourage students to read slowly so that they can pronounce each pinyin correctly. I will also encourage students to try their best to abandon pinyin and attempt to memorise Chinese characters, as this is the most efficient way to learn Chinese. At the end of the class, we will spend 5 minutes reviewing the content covered in the lesson.

Victor has been very helpful in assisting me in improving my Chinese skills. When we started, I asked him if we could focus on skills practical for conversations and improve/correct any of my existing skills. He has responded extremely well, taking the time to find my level and adapt the lesson content to it. He is patient and willing to take the time to stop and focus on something if needed. If you are interested in a teacher who will take the time to make sure you improve and not just provide impersonal content, Victor is an amazing choice.

Un grand merci à Victor pour ses cours de qualité ! Grâce à sa pédagogie personnalisée, je me sens de plus en plus à l'aise pour m'exprimer en chinois, ce qui était mon plus gros défi.
