Speak English with clarity and confidence! I specialize in American accent training and professional communication for interviews, presentations, and IELTS.
With a background in linguistics, international affairs, and life coaching, I help intermediate-to-advanced learners refine pronunciation, speak more fluidly, and gain self-assurance.
As a parent of multilingual children and a professional who has lived and worked on multiple continents, I understand language challenges deeply. My lessons blend structured practice with engaging conversation, always tailored to your goals and interests.

Whether we are having a conversation or working on pronunciation, every lesson is focused and supportive. I offer clear corrections while keeping lessons engaging and fun. My approach adapts to your needs.
Since 2021, I have worked with hundreds of clients on two platforms. This experience has helped me develop effective methods and original materials for pronunciation training and conversation-based learning.

I offer 4 courses to help you improve your English:
1) Great Conversations – Practice real discussions to improve fluency, expression, and vocabulary. I correct pronunciation as needed.
2) Master the American Accent – Systematic training in all 50 American English sounds. Focus on mouth positioning, rhythm, and stress. Lessons are 70% pronunciation and 30% conversation.
3) Communicate with Confidence – Prepare for your interviews, presentations, or IELTS. Refine your answers, organize ideas, and speak clearly.
4) Effective Pronunciation Practice - We'll read a novelette that's designed for practicing sounds.

2021 - 2023
TutorSupported over 1600 English learners in 15-60 min sessions tailored to each students' language needs. Became one of the highest ranked 'Supertutors' after 7 months of teaching on the platform.
2022 - 2022
Course Co-creator & FacilitatorPartnered with Pai Seedlings Foundation (an NGO promoting sustainable agriculture and lifestyles), to design an online course about HUMANS AS NATURE, and about how human and social change happen in the same ways nature around us changes. The deep dive into this subject has greatly influenced my teaching approaches. This perspective also guided my career shift after decades of global and community impact work, to now working for impact in the lives of individual students around the world.
2021 - 2021
Course Co-creator & FacilitatorAfter a 25 year international career as a changemaker, and becoming certified as a Selfcraft Creator Coach, I partnered with the founder of Selfcraft to co-design and lead a 6 month interactive online course called "Restorative Activism." The course taught restorative practices for communicating with ourselves, with other individuals and with groups to 25 activists and changemakers representing 14 nationalities.

ปริญญาโท - Foreign ServiceCompleted a Master of Science in Foreign Service (MSFS), with a specialized focus on International Business in Developing Countries.
1985 - 1989
Bachelor’s - LinguisticsAt the time I received my BA in Linguistcs, UCLA was the number 2 school in the US for that subject. I especially enjoyed my courses in child language acquisition, historical linguistics and phonetics. One of my senior projects was an analysis of speech errors made by non-native English speakers.

2015 - 2018
FounderCreated two 'cross-cultural co-creation club' facilities in N. Thailand, which offered co-creative workshop, retreat and travel experiences to mixed groups of foreigners, Thais and refugees from Myanmar. The club developed a relationship with a village of long-necked Kayan refugees in support of their desire to change their tourism model. I designed, led and recruited participants for 10 workshops in support of this goal, and trained village youth in conversation hosting & translation skills.
2010 - 2015
Initiator and Co-founderSpearheaded a 5-year international exploration of co-creative approaches to community development. This involved guiding a core group of community development practitioners from 5 continents in a structured discovery and co-creative learning process. The Ci2i Global group co-hosted 3 co-creative learning events (in 2 countries) for changemakers and civil society actors from around the world.
2009 - 2017
CEOEstablished a consulting and facilitation services company that designed, led and hosted events in the social change sector. Notable clients included the International Women's Forum (France & Myanmar), Ashoka Innovators for the Public (France), and The HUB coworking space (Brussels). Some profits from Evolutionize It! events and event services financed small projects I initiated at a rock quarry community in Uganda and a garbage dump community at the Thai/Myanmar border.
1999 - 2009
Founding DirectorIn the early days of the internet in Uganda, I created a website that used storytelling to raise funds for local development. That website was cited in the UN's report on the Internet in Developing Economies in 2001, & earned me a fellowship with Ashoka Innovators for the Public. With that support, I taught Ugandans how to participate in online communities in ways that could support their own development goals. Google 'Co-creating a post-war community' for my TedX talk about what happened next.
1994 - 1998
Project ManagerProvided headquarters management and implementation support for a portfolio of international development projects in Eastern Europe and Eastern Africa which were contracted to the company. Projects in my portfolio were financed by the European Union, the World Bank and the African Development Bank. I was also responsible for writing or editing all proposals and company promotional documents that were in English.
1993 - 1994
Project ManagerThe company had developed a research method that was designed to find the best locations in the world for a new factory. I promoted this method to the World Bank as a way of measuring the investment attractiveness of countries and highlighting key factors governments should work on to improve their attractiveness. My team and I carried out World Bank funded studies in Morrocco and Tunisia.
