I’m Azusa, a certified Japanese teacher based in Tokyo. I passed the Japanese Language Teaching Competency Test and studied English in Canada, so I understand how challenging learning a new language can be. I also speak Kansai dialect, so you can learn regional Japanese. My lessons focus on real, natural Japanese used in everyday conversation. Beginners are welcome, and many students also enjoy JLPT preparation and survival Japanese for travel. Let’s enjoy learning Japanese together!

日本語教育能力検定試験に合格し、プロの日本語教師として活動しています。私自身もカナダで1年間英語を学び、言語学習の難しさを実感しました。レッスンでは間違いを恐れなくて大丈夫です。安心して日本語を話せる環境づくりを大切にしています。また、コーチングスクールを修了しており、日本語でのコーチング形式のレッスンも可能です。 I passed the Japanese Language Teaching Competency Test and I am a certified professional Japanese teacher. I also studied English in Canada for one year, so I understand how challenging it can be to learn and speak a new language. In my lessons, mistakes are always welcome. That’s how we improve. I create a relaxed and supportive environment where students feel comfortable speaking Japanese. I also completed a professional coaching program and can offer coaching-style sessions in Japanese.

私のレッスンは初心者から上級者まで対応しています。日本語が初めての方も安心してください。あいさつなどの基本から、ゆっくり進めていきます。会話練習を中心に、自然に話せる日本語を身につけていきましょう。必要に応じて、文法、発音、語彙、ひらがな・カタカナ・漢字の書き方もサポートします。レッスンでお会いできるのを楽しみにしています。 My lessons are suitable for students of all levels, from beginners to advanced learners. If you’re just starting, don’t worry. We can begin with simple greetings and build your confidence step by step. I focus mainly on conversation practice to help you speak Japanese more naturally and comfortably. If needed, I can also help with grammar, pronunciation, vocabulary, and writing Hiragana, Katakana, and Kanji. I look forward to seeing you in class!
