My passion for psychology and deep conversations means our lessons can go beyond vocabulary, exploring societal and philosophical topics, language and culture, as well as our daily life! Whether you’re a beginner or polishing fluency, I’ll help you speak naturally and embrace the messy, joyful process of mastering Greek (or English) :)
🗣️ I am happy to tailor the lesson around your needs and priorities, focusing on the things you find useful and interesting in your linguistic journey. Every student is different and unique, so I aim to create a personalized plan that includes realistic and achievable goals we can set together. :)
I encourage you to make mistakes and learn from them, while providing and repeating explanations and corrections, as many times as you need me to. I also have lots of homework and grammar/vocabulary/reading/listening/speaking practice to send, while I am always open to requests or suggestions that will optimize your learning experience. :)

I’ve completed 5 lessons with Sofia and I can’t believe how much I’ve learned already! She’s really good at explaining things in a way that’s easy to understand, and she makes lessons genuinely fun. Each week, she comes prepared with new topics/focuses that we then practice using real-life examples and conversation. It keeps the lessons structured while still feeling really relevant to my everyday life. I highly recommend Sofia!

I can’t express enough how amazing Sofia is as a teacher. She always comes with ideas and materials and is great at gently correcting my mistakes. I have learned so much already.
