PhD FRANCESCO CONTE

Francesco is a superb teacher, always enthusiastic and in a great mood. But, just as importantly, he's also a student of multiple languages himself, which means he knows exactly what it's like to learn a new language as an adult and has an open mind about the best way to make progress. I've taken many classes with him, and will be taking many more.

Francesco is helping me with my Italian oral skills. I have been working with him for a few weeks. He has made me feel comfortable speaking, he prompts with interesting topics in advance, listens attentively, and takes opportunities to improve my skills. Being a "beginner speaker" can be overwhelming because of the number of errors and the lack of vocabulary. Francesco doesn't overwhelm you and focuses on the main issues. He promotes communication over accuracy. It is a pleasure working with him.

It’s always a bit nerve wracking to start a new language as an adult but Mr Conte makes it so easy. He is also one of the most interesting people you could hope to meet. I can’t recommend him enough

Francesco is a fantastic teacher. I look forward to every lesson. The best thing is that my language skills are actually improving. He is extremely supportive and calmly provides the correct pronounciation or a better, more natural way of saying something. He is friendly and very easy to talk to. FIVE STARS!!!

I was so nervous to have my first conversation in Italian, but Professor Conte made it so much fun. He is patient, very interesting, and of course extremely intelligent. This is going to be a fun language to learn!
