Hello! I am a native English speaker who was born in Alberta, Canada and now lives on Vancouver Island. When I'm not teaching, I'm usually gardening or making music. I like to explore nature and am always trying to learn something new!ฉันในฐานะผู้สอน
I received my CELTA certification from International House Vancouver in the spring of 2021 and have experience teaching a class of up to 12 students of varying nationalities and levels from upper elementary to upper intermediate. During the CELTA course I created my own lesson plans for a variety of skills, functions, grammar and vocabulary lessons and learned to adapt and create lessons for students of all ages from beginner to advanced. My lessons follow typical staging with a lead in to generate interest and lots of controlled and free practice with feedback. I like to keep my lessons relaxed but goal-oriented with the best pace for the student in mind. When I meet a new student, I like to get to know them and why they specifically want to learn English so that I can prepare the most useful lessons and materials for them. I like to come up with creative activities that are based on the student's learning style- I believe in the importance of adapting my lessons!สื่อการสอนของฉัน
