my name is Pourya Yahyaee and i'm 32 years old. I'm currently living in France and studying French language teaching at the masters degree, but i grew up in Tehran and i speak the standard Persian of the capital. I have studied English literature at university and i have my masters degree. I have also studied ancient Persian languages that i could not finish because of Corona virus. Besides being a language teacher i am also a tour guide and i have traveled a lot around Iran so i know quite well the ancient, rich, and beautiful culture of Iran.ฉันในฐานะผู้สอน
I have been teaching English for 12 years and French for 9 years at language schools and in private so i am quite experienced in the field of language teaching.
as for my studies, i have studied English literature in Iran at a master's degree and i am doing my last semester of French Language Teaching in France for another master.
I have studied Language Teaching Methodologies during my literary studies and all along my current studies so i am quite familiar with different methods, and i always try to find the best combination using miscellaneous sources such as course books, videos, internet, Powerpoint files, applications, etc. บทเรียนและรูปแบบการสอนของฉัน
I try to combine both traditional and modern methods so as to find the best method based on the learners' needs and objectives. However, I believe that at the heart of language learning lays communication and interaction and that's how i learned French thanks to Italki because i decided to speak with native speakers from day one.
I would like to use coursebooks too because i believe they are well organized and well structured.
I make an enormous use of technologies because the golden rule of improving in a language is immersive exposure and technologies such as videos, radio, TV, series, movies and websites are great sources to do so.สื่อการสอนของฉัน

TeacherI completed a six-month internship in a high-school in Poitiers, France as a part of my master's studies where i tought French as a second language to new-coming students from different nationalities. During my internship, I created a French cours-book to teach communicative and scholarly French in order to prepare the students to participate activley in their normal classes.

Bachelor’s - Didactique du françaisI obtained the DAEFLE (Diplôme d'Aptitude à l'Enseignement du Français Langue Étrangère) in April 2024 after having passed the finale exame. To pass the final exam, the particpants must take courses regarding French Language Teaching during one year, either online or in real class. I took online courses through a platform. This course helped me acquire solid skills and knowledge to teach French as a foreign language.
2022 - 2025
ปริญญาโท - Didactique du françaisI obtained my master's degree in French as Foreign language (Master FLE ou Français Langue Étrangère) at the Université de Poitiers. The Master's was a great opportunity for me to consolidate my experiences, update my knowledge and methods and acquire new skills concerning French Language Teaching.

I am writing this long review in English so that most of you can understand this. Pourya is an unbelievable teacher and my experience with him has been transformative in many ways. I had a level of A2 + when I took my first class in August and had the ambitious goal of passing the B2 Delf in November. I needed to pass the exam so that I could file for my Permanent Residence in Quebec. This was very stressful and I tried all sources of learning such as YMCA, college courses, other Italki professors etc. Pourya had a plan for me, and all I had to do was keep faith in his methods and do my part. He gives you very real advice, lets you know the areas you need to work on and then gives you the tools ( and changes them if he finds they dont work for you). After 3 months of hard work, I got 80.5/100 in B2 and now I can stay in Quebec :) Pourya will be ideal for you but I recommend committing to a long term project. Take classes multiple times a week, do your HW and let Pourya do the rest :)

Great lesson with Pourya. I have trouble keeping a conversation going in french, and this was a non issue because Pouya kept asking simple but interestion questions to keep me engaged, but never frustrated at my speaking ability. Highly recommended

Love this guy, he is really good at what he does..I am a bit older than the average student but Pourya is very patient and understanding with me, answers all.my questions and doesnt mind when we have to go over things several times.to soak it into my old english brain
