Hi! My name is Cynthia, and I’m originally from Hamburg, Germany. I speak German, English, and Spanish fluently, and I’ve always had a passion for exploring the world. By the age of 22, I had already lived in five different countries: Spain (Barcelona), England (Lancaster), Poland (Szczecin), and Mexico (Tijuana). I’m now living in the beautiful city of Cancún, Mexico. Professionally, I focus on my teaching, but I worked three years as the Supervisor of the office of the to the Honorary Consul of Germany in Cancún. At this moment i also do some work as a Procurement analyst. Proud author of the children’s book Two Little Astronauts, One Big Adventure, available on Amazon in 4 languages.

I’m a passionate, open-minded teacher with over 10 years of experience. I speak English and Spanish at a fluent level and learned both from scratch, so I understand the challenges of language learning firsthand. My lessons focus on fluency, confidence, and vocabulary-building through engaging, personalized conversations. I’ve taught students of all ages, mostly adults who want to improve their speaking skills or prepare for exams. My goal is to create a relaxed environment where you feel supported and motivated to speak German naturally, comfortably, and with joy.

Lessons may include speaking, listening, grammar, vocabulary and exam preparation to build practical, real-world language skills. You’ll speak most of the time, with my support and corrections. I provide clear materials, optional homework, and regular feedback to track progress. I also share effective study tips to help you practice smarter and reach your goals faster, because learning a language should be both fun and efficient!
