Jana is an excellent teacher. She is organised and uses a collection of varied learning materials to explain Slovak grammar in a clear and understandable way - something I really appreciate! It is also very helpful that she provides a full script of all new vocabulary which comes up during each lesson, since I can use this to make flash cards and revise what I have learnt. Jana's lessons are structured, covering of new content in every lesson, but are also relaxed and always enjoyable. I have been taking lessons three times a week for the past three months and feel delighted with how much better I can use the language now. Highly reccommended!

It is intimidating learning a new language one to one with an instructor. That fear evaporates soon into a lesson with Jana. She is patient, knowledgeable, positive and fun. You look forward to a lesson and not dreading it. She is excellent at maintaining a conversation at whatever language level you are at. Corrections seem much more like gentle suggestions. With her lessons she incorporates a contemporaneous document where explanations of words, grammar or usage are given and can referred back to later. She has an abundance of additional learning resources to assist learning.

Jana is a fantastic teacher! She adjusts to my needs, comes up with different methods, listens carefully, explains clearly all mistakes I make, show me the way forward how together she can help me continue improving my Slovak. She is highly enthusiastic, calm and dynamics... a great teacher!

Jana is an excellent teacher! Each lesson she is prepared with engaging materials and is very encouraging. I started with almost no knowledge of the Slovak language, and she was able to start from the very beginning and made me feel super comfortable asking any questions.
