Hi, my name is Cathy. I was born in the UK and have lived all over Britain - in Northern Ireland, Wales and England. As a result, I speak with a clear neutral British accent (even UK people can’t tell exactly where I’m from). I’ve also been lucky enough to live abroad briefly, and to travel for pleasure too. I hope to travel a lot more in the future. I have a varied background, and am excited to be starting this new phase of my life, sharing my love of, and passion for, the English language with amazing and interesting people from all over the world!ฉันในฐานะผู้สอน
I know it can be hard learning a new language (in my case, Italian), so as a teacher my main priority is to be patient and encouraging. I love the space that working one-to-one brings - the lessons go at the pace and the level you the student need, with feedback given in the way that works best for you, and homework (if wanted) that focuses on consolidating what we cover in lessons.
I have completed a 169-hour TEFL qualification, as well as an Advanced Grammar for Online English Teachers course and an IELTS Specialist Teacher course. บทเรียนและรูปแบบการสอนของฉัน
As well as being patient, encouraging and flexible, I aim to provide fun and interesting lessons on whatever gets you talking freely. I love to find out about new cultures and traditions, so talking about your home country and your own life is a great place to start. I can also provide lots of discussion topics, and we can use articles, film clips, or anything that gets us talking!
I teach adults only (sorry, no children), and offer:
* General conversation lessons
* Guidance on grammar, pronunciation and accent, either as we go along in a general conversation or through separate, customised lessons
