Hi! I am Teacher Sonny, a professional teacher from the Philippines. I have been teaching here in italki for more than four (4) years. I teach Filipino/Tagalog, Cebuano, and English!
During my bachelor’s degree, I studied Filipino Linguistics, so I have a lot to teach to my students.

Teaching is my passion. As a teacher it is my obligation to enrich the learnings of my students most especially when it comes to learning a specific language since it is a complex type of education. As a teacher I am always willing to explain all the intricacies of the language, and to always open my ears for suggestions and recommendations to further empower myself to become a more effective teacher. My teaching styles are very easy so my students won't feel pressure throughout the lesson. Usually in my class I provide pdf files containing the lesson structures for better and standardized learning, including my video presentations for assessment, PowerPoint slides, articles and news.
