Hi! I’m Lukas, a Spanish tutor from Chile 🇨🇱 and a student of philosophy. I’m passionate about sharing my native language and helping students reach their goals—whether it’s becoming fluent, preparing for a trip, or simply enjoying Spanish through books, movies, or conversations. Studying philosophy gives me a thoughtful and creative approach to language and communication. I also enjoy reading, cinema, and outdoor activities, and I love bringing these interests into our lessons to keep them fun and meaningful. I speak English and some French, so I understand what it’s like to learn a new language. I’ll support you with patience, curiosity, and enthusiasm. My classes are relaxed and conversation-based, with a focus on real-life communication. We’ll talk about topics you care about—travel, culture, movies, your daily life—while naturally improving your grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation. I’ll correct your mistakes gently, only when needed, so you can gain fluency and confidence. I aim to create a space where you feel free to express yourself without pressure. Lukas is an exceptional person and conversationalist. We have discussed a wide variety of topics during our lessons, which in turn has helped me improve my vocabulary. He is extremely kind and positive during our conversations, and I love that he speaks in a very calm tone, and most imporantly, he enunciates very clearly during our entire lesson. All my chats with him feel like a conversation with a close friend. I am glad to have found Lukas as a tutor. I highly recommend him!

I've met with Lukas twice now and I really appreciate his patience and his skill in drawing me out and making me feel like I can use my Spanish effectively. He is genuinely curious and great at finding conversational topics to increase my comfort to converse.
