Hello! I was born and raised in New York City but my parents are from Thailand. Therefore, I am a native English and Thai speaker. I graduated from The City College of New York in 2022 with a Bachelor's of Arts in Psychology. Due to my love for teaching and writing, I aspire to become an elementary school teacher and published author!
Aside from tutoring English on italki, I'm an Academic Tutor/Receptionist at my alma mater. I basically tutor college students and help them earn good grades in courses such as psychology, speech, English, statistics, and beginner Spanish and Portuguese. My hobbies include learning K-pop dances, writing fiction, and playing The Sims 4!ฉันในฐานะผู้สอน
I've been teaching English online since September 2021. My experience working with students have started in 2016 when I was a Mentor for middle school students. Then, I became a Reading Volunteer for a second-grader, I tutored college students for a statistics class, and later, I became a Teaching Assistant for an Introduction to Psychology course at the City College of New York where I had to manage of classroom of eighteen students, plan lessons, and grade papers. Throughout these experiences, I have gained many skills such as patience, understanding, and the ability to adapt to online teaching!บทเรียนและรูปแบบการสอนของฉัน
My teaching style is relaxed and casual. I aim to create a safe and welcoming environment for my students. In my lessons, my students get to practice English through fun and engaging activities, they will get the opportunity to use commonly spoken phrases, and receive helpful feedback from me! I also assign homework and assignments if the student requests for it and I use active learning methods to help my students improve their English skills.สื่อการสอนของฉัน

▪ Juggled multiple tasks such as grading assignments, attending meetings, and communicating with students.

Co-Founder, Vice President▪ Managed a culturally diverse dance team who regularly produces content on YouTube and performs at events.
▪ Initiated and supervised plans such as performances, dance projects, auditions, and team meetings.
▪ Taught choreographies by hosting in-person classes for the student body to advocate for physical exercise.

Pitcha assigned a 800-word, college-level essay for me to work on my pronunciations and reading comprehension. Her constructive feedback helped me a great deal with word stress and ending consonants. I still struggle with correct pronunciations, but I'm getting easier to understand. Thank you! You rock!

After one lesson with Pitcha, I decided to continue to learn with her! She seems to have a great plan for my learning, she has some methods in her mind but is also willing to adjust to my ideas. It was really nice to talk with her and in conversational classes it is crucial.

Today was Lesson #9 with Kru Pitcha and we covered classifiers. It was a difficult topic with a lot of grammar and sentence structure along with vocabulary. Kru Pitcha was prepared, had many resources for me to use after class as well as went through individually how to use multiple classifiers with different subjects, numbers, and nouns. It was a really fun class and I am learning so much. Definitely take notes along with the notes she provides as it will help you recall complicated vocabulary and sentence structures!
