My name is Helga and I am here to teach Bulgarian, German, Dutch, Swedish and Norwegian. I am open-minded, creative and communicative. These skills help me teaching in an amusing and interesting manner.

An interpreting major, speaking 5 languages, overjoyed to guide you on your language journey! 🥳 Teaching my students and friends how to speak languages has been something that naturally occurred from a young age. My friends' parents would have their kids practice English with me and once I went to university, I started teaching Italian and Bulgarian privately. There is nothing more rewarding than seeing your students improve on their speaking and grasp more and more with each lesson. I love to facilitate that learning for my students and make it as fun as possible. Jokes are never set aside!

As a PhD student in Bulgarian literature, I am interested in Bulgarian literature and cinema from the period of Socialism (1944-1989) and I believe that these topics would help my students not only in learning the language itself, but also in getting to know Bulgaria, its history and culture. I am patient and consistent in my work so it would be a pleasure to teach Bulgarian language even to complete beginners.

I have a bachelor's degree in Modern greek philology and i have participated in different international language programs.
