Here at iTalki I have specialized in teaching Dutch to all level of students: from A0 to C1, inburgering, and medical Dutch for healthcare professionals. I like to keep a mixture of fun and professional, in other words that I like to keep things fun and in a positive light where a joke is definitely possible. However, when it comes down to it I am serious in my desire to teach other people some of my languages and cultures.

As such I slowly learned how to teach people. Now I feel confident to teach English as well as Dutch. My favorite quote is "Cogito ergo sum"from Descartes, it reminds you about that we don't know anything in life but life itself and that we should always be open to new information because we will keep learning until we breath our last breath. My next favorite quote connects to the last one and goes like this "the more you know the more you know you don't know" from Aristotle. Which basically means that you have to realize how much you don't know.

But since the start of the crisis, I have been teaching online fulltime.
