The excitement would become the fuel for their progress, especially on the long term. I'm also amazed by how children learn their native language. They go from absolute zero to a native speaker in a very short amount of time. But what’s most surprising to me is this: We don’t even have to explain grammar to children explicitly, yet they absorb these patterns naturally, intuitively over time.

Language learning needs structure, humour, and the right kind of obsession. I bring all three. I’ve taught Dutch and French in secondary school, and German and Dutch in adult education. I’ve been tutoring since I was a student myself — in law, languages, and study skills. My lessons are conversation-based, flexible, and adapted to your needs. I won’t give you a step-by-step textbook course — instead, I’ll coach you through real-life communication, at your level and pace. I don’t teach Dutch from scratch, but if you already speak a little, I’ll help you build fluency, confidence, and clarity. Because language is a skill — and you only learn it by using it.

I'm waiting to enhance your (Belgian) Dutch flow :) I've been regularly teaching, tutoring and conversing with language students from all over the world since the past few years. In the meantime (July 2022) I finished a teacher training, specifically focused on language teaching. In January 2023, I even launched a complete self-paced video course for beginners of Dutch with 14 hours of content + exercises.
