While I have been learning Italian, I realised how difficult it can be to progress with speaking a foreign language. It can be nerve wracking and so when I teach conversational English, I will make sure that the student feels relaxed and I will emphasise that there is no rush to get the right word or phrase out. While I have no formal teaching qualifications, I have college level education and speak with no accent.
