I started as a teaching assistant at the British Council and later taught English and Georgian in several language centres. I’ve also taught first-year students at the Georgian Technical University. I’m patient and understanding because I know how difficult it can be to learn a new language; therefore, my approach to teaching is simple: I strive to make lessons clear, practical, and focused on what the student actually needs.

I started to teach in age of 22. I remember how i was feeling nervous for my first lesson. I was "new" for teaching, young, without experience, I'd just had my knowledge and pure feeling to share it with everyone. In the very beginning, the teaching style I've been using was copied from my former teachers, time by time I just broke down all frames, I got free from past experiences, I felt my personality and freedom as a guiding light of my knowledge and I started improvisation, I took a responsibility to believe in myself. I don't like dogmas, It blocks everyone's freedom, reduces our motivation studying. So in teaching for me important is to listen freedom of personality.

Before that, I had never been a teacher. And so my adventure began… On this journey, I’ve met many wonderful people from all around the world. Every lesson teaches me something new and helps me grow as a teacher. The feeling of pride and joy becomes stronger each time I see my students enjoy the process - discovering their Georgian voice, finding new ways to express themselves, and growing with confidence. That gives me extra motivation to continue this path with even more passion.

I also have a strong foundation thanks to my mother, who is a university professor and teaches Georgian to Russian-speaking students. I've grown up around her teaching and methods, and I often draw from her experience when planning my own lessons.
