Mómó is a fantastic Icelandic teacher with amazing resources and always has interesting insights into Icelandic culture. I feel comfortable asking questions and discussing any topic. After a 25-day streak of studying Birgir's Anki decks, I can now form some basic sentences and try responding to small talk. I can only imagine what big strides I could achieve in Icelandic as I continue taking lessons while studying new cards in between. Learned a lot today! Margret was super helpful as always. Stundum, I feel like I ask (of mikið?) too many questions en Margret is always just so patient. Takk, Margret for putting up with me and for taking the time to share some really useful tips and tricks! For example, it was very cool of Margret to teach me how to easily spot the gender of adjectives in response to one of my questions, even if it wasn't actually part of the chapter that we were on [-x (fem), -ur (masc.), and -t (neut.) FTW! 🙌 ]. 😊

Magnus does a phenomenal job of helping me push myself to learn while still encouraging me and increasing my confidence in my grammar and language skills. Being able to practice pronounciation out loud and ask questions about grammar and phrases in real time has been indispensable. Each lesson is so fun the time just flies by.

Excellent lesson - I continue to be amazed at how much information Sunnefa can pack into just one hour! She's a natural teacher with an outstanding depth of knowledge of both Icelandic (both technically and historically) and English.

It was an excellent first lesson! Thora messaged me an hour before so that I knew that we were on schedule and she took time during the lesson to find out what I needed and how I wanted to proceed. I learnt more in that 30 minutes than I had in several hours of listening to my previous course alone! Plus the reassurance that I was getting the pronunciation corrected as I went along and some useful homework. I am looking forward to the next lesson already.
