I think 1-on-1 lessons are far more beneficial than other types of lessons. After teaching for 8+ years now, there were many demonstrable success stories with students regularly passing various language tests such as EIKEN or TRKI. I combine writing, speaking and listening. My own experience learning through websites has been very mixed and if you feel the same way, I totally get it! At most you'll get a couple of things in the chat but I also include thorough notes after each class, not just things copy-pasted from the chat and that sets me apart!
