It was only the first session but Ozi Goodnews made learning ASL excellent, fun, informative and-so I'm looking forward to the next session. I'm confident I'll be conversational quite quickly.

Ryne’s materials are wonderfully prepared and organized, which helps to guide the flow of the lesson; however, the real bonus is that he is very observant and has a keen sense of how to expand upon the lesson plan and pace it such that you learn a great deal, receive tons of opportunity to do receptive and expressive practice and ask questions. He’s an excellent, excellent teacher.

Bruce is an excellent teacher! He tailors each lesson to the student's skills and goals. Today we chatted for a few minutes (in ASL) and then we practiced expansion techniques. Bruce is always prepared with materials on the whiteboard, and he includes lots of examples for practice for each concept. He is very kind and encouraging, and he's good at explaining features of ASL that do not exist in English. I'm looking forward to our next lesson!

I had always been interested in learning ASL but I had never taken a class before. After seeing Kimmi's profile, I decided to book a class with her. We jumped right in from the very first class and by the end of the class, I had learned a ton. I learned so much and enjoyed the class so much that I purchased a package of 20 classes. Kimmi's demeanor is great and she's a very effective teacher. I'm so excited to keep learning with Kimmi and highly recommend her!

Bryana is an absolutely incredible ASL teacher. Her lessons are well paced and full of information. She offers resources outside of class, such as useful videos on bettering one's ability to sign or knowledge of Deaf culture. After every lesson, she sends a document with a brief review of the lesson, some suggestions for practice, & notes for what will come next. Her teaching is very well organized without feeling rigid and she is a fun conversation partner. It's a blessing to have such a patient and encouraging sign language teacher. I strongly recommend her to anyone who wants to learn ASL!

Marisol was outstanding in her presentation of the language to a beginner. She carefully outlined the path that we will take to grasp the basics filled with games and reviews along the way. Most of all, she creates a friendly learning environment for your success.

I've been signing for 15+ years and I can converse with Deaf people, but I've working to make my signing more ASL and less English. Ratheesh has been the most helpful so far of all the tutors I've tried on here when it comes to this goal, and I think I've tried most of the Deaf ASL tutors.

I have had almost 10 ASL classes with Nim so far, and she has been so awesome! I was a complete beginner in our first session, and today we had a really great lesson in which I was able to stumble through signing a conversation with her for almost 20 minutes! So stoked about my progress! Nim is a very patient and flexible teacher. She always makes sure to correct me when I sign incorrectly, and we can adapt the classes to whatever I want to do in the moment - even if that means she has to fingerspell a lot of words in a row so I can practice my reading comprehension! I really appreciate that she sends me videos of her signing the signs we've learnt in class, because it can be difficult sometimes to find ASL resources on the Internet. She encourages me to sign, not speak, whenever I can and also does the same. Overall, I've really enjoyed my classes with Nim so far. Thanks so much Nim! I look forward to taking many more classes with you :)

As you pointed out, we have been working on vocabulary, concept, and restructure, and I can definitely feel like all three have been improving ever since our first couple of lessons! I am extremely grateful to have you as one of my best teachers, and I cannot wait to continue learning more from you, as I truly believe that it will be beneficial for my future.
