Today it rained very hard. Because of the heavy rain, I couldn’t get to my second class on time. In the evening, I hung out with my friends. One of my friends will turn 20 next week, so we wanted to do something before she leaves her teenage years. We played with clay together in Shibuya. It reminded us of our childhood, and we had a lot of fun.

In English, "hanakotoba" is called the language of flowers. Each flower has its own special meaning. For example, red roses mean deep love and romance, while yellow sunflowers symbolize energy and loyalty. People often use these unique meanings to show their true feelings. Giving flowers is a sweet way to send messages without any words.

Today, I went to Shinjuku to look for a keychain that my mother wanted. Unfortunately, it was sold out, but I ended up buying a lot of stickers instead.😭After that, I went back to school to attend my English class about prophecy, and then I headed to my part-time job. The restaurant was extremely busy, and customers kept coming in until about ten minutes before closing time. Because of that, I finished work about thirty minutes later than usual. I was really tired by the end of the day, but I’m excited because I’m going to hang out with my friend tomorrow. I hope we have a great time together‼︎

### The Quiet Power of Small Changes B2 Level | Reading Practice We often believe that changing our lives requires big decisions: moving to another country, changing careers, or achieving something extraordinary. However, real change often begins with small actions that we repeat every day. Imagine someone who wants to become more confident in English. Studying for three hours once a week might seem impressive, but practising for fifteen minutes every day could be much more effective. Over time, these small efforts build knowledge, develop habits, and create lasting progress. The same principle applies to almost every area of life. Reading a few pages before bed can gradually turn us into regular readers. Taking a short walk each day can improve our physical health. Even spending five minutes reflecting on our experiences can help us understand ourselves better. The problem is that we often underestimate small achievements because we expect immediate results. We want to see progress straight away, and when it doesn't happen, we lose motivation. Yet meaningful improvement rarely happens overnight. Instead of asking, "How can I change my whole life?" perhaps we should ask, "What small thing can I do today to make tomorrow a little better?" You don't have to be perfect, and you don't need to change everything at once. You simply need to keep moving in the right direction. After all, a better future is often built through ordinary actions repeated consistently. ### Discussion questions * Why do people often prefer big changes to small improvements? * What is one small habit that could make your life better? * Why is consistency sometimes more important than motivation? * Can small daily actions really change someone's future? Why or why not? * What is one habit you would like to develop over the next three months? * Do you think people today expect results too quickly? Why?

The next day, we went to Hong Kong Disneyland. My friend likes rides, so we went to on a many attractions. But I wanted to buy souvenirs. She wanted to keep riding attractions until the park closed, but I was tired of following her, so I went to buy souvenirs by myself. Spending time with her at Disneyland was very stressful.

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is considered one of the most important modern technologies that has affected many areas of life. It is now used to simplify tasks and improve performance. With continuous technological development, Al has become an important tool in supporting scientific research and improving its methods. Al plays an important role in improving the efficiency of scientific research and making researchers' work easier. It helps accomplish tasks faster and more accurately, especially when dealing with large amounts of information. It also contributes to organizing and analyzing data, which makes it easier to reach useful results. Al is used in many fields such as medicine and engineering, where it supports the development of studies and scientific experiments. In addition, it reduces the time and effort spent on repetitive tasks, allowing researchers to focus on the creative aspects of research. In conclusion, Al plays a major role in developing scientific research by supporting innovation, increasing efficiency, and helping researchers achieve faster discoveries. However, there are some negative aspects to its use, such as over-reliance on technology and the possibility of errors in data analysis if it is not properly monitored. It may also reduce the role of human thinking in some stages of research. Therefore, Al should be used in a balanced way that combines technology and human expertise to achieve the best results E

Many DELF B2 candidates think the speaking test is about using advanced French. In reality, a clear structure matters just as much. In **5–7 minutes**, you need to: • introduce the topic, • present a clear plan, • develop **2–3 arguments** with examples, • and finish with a concise conclusion. Which part is the most challenging for you?

I planned to rent a tennis court and play tennis for the first time in a long time next week, but it is expected to rain all week. Although I finally made a big effort and started to move, I became unable to do it. For now, believing that it will be sunny, I will do what I have to do. I want to do a part-time job, but there is no place to do it. This summer might be for studying.
