The Diary of Li Xin
The lady likes to drink jasmine tea in the summer. She bought a jasmine plant last year, but it died during the winter. It grows well in the summer, but it is very sensitive to cold weather. She bought it from southern China, where the climate is much warmer.
More and more people are starting YouTube channels to share their daily lives. Many of them are unemployed. Their parents often tell them that they should get married because they care about their future and worry about them.
Others choose a religious life, such as becoming nuns, which is also a valid way of living.
On the other hand, some parents may prefer their children to remain single so that they will always be available to care for them. In many cases, parents are simply worried that their sons or daughters will become lonely as they grow older.

Today, I went to Kiyose City for my tourism class. It was my first time visiting this city. We learned about Hansen’s disease and its history. It was a valuable experience, and I learned many new things. For lunch, I ate curry. It was a little expensive, but it was very delicious. However, waking up at 5:30 in the morning was really hard for me. After the school trip, I went to dance practice. I was tired, but I enjoyed dancing with my friends. Tomorrow, I am going to walk all day, so I want to go to bed early tonight and get enough sleep.

Today, I spent almost the whole day working on my seminar paper. I worked on it for many hours without taking a long break. My head feels like it is going to explode because I have been thinking so much. I am really tired, and it has been very stressful. I am worried that I may not finish it before the deadline, but I will keep doing my best.

After living in Australia for 11 years, I’ve started seeing Japan differently.
Places like this remind me that Japan isn’t only about Tokyo, anime, or sushi.
It’s also about quiet mornings, old shrines, beautiful nature, and moments that make you slow down.
That’s one reason I enjoy teaching Japanese.
I don’t just teach the language, I enjoy sharing the culture, everyday expressions, and the little things that make Japan feel like Japan.
If that sounds interesting to you, I’d love to meet you in class😊⛩️

Can you ask to use someone’s charger without mixing up borrow and lend? Libraries offer a useful example.
Borrow means receive something temporarily:
“I borrowed a book from the library.”
Lend means give something temporarily:
“The library lent a book to me.”
The same exchange, from two different viewpoints.
With a friend, you could ask:
“Could I borrow your charger?”
“Could you lend me your charger?”
Your turn: Complete both sentences:
1. Could I ______ your pen?
2. Could you ______ me your pen?

Today, I stayed home all day and had a relaxing time. My room was messy, and I wanted to clean it, but I couldn’t find the motivation, so I ended up not doing it.😭 I also have an English test the day after tomorrow, so I’m going to study after this.
Tomorrow, I’m going to an ENHYPEN pop-up store with my friend, so I’ll do my best in my classes before that.
