Today, I went to school and attended my classes. I listened carefully to the teachers and took notes during the lessons. I also talked with my friends during the breaks and enjoyed spending time with them. After school, I went home and relaxed. It was a normal day, but I learned new things and had a good time at school.

3 Rules to Actually Speak Hebrew (Even If You Don’t Live in Israel) Stuck in endless textbook loops, feeling like your grammar isn't perfect enough or that you don't have enough vocabulary yet? If you don't live in Israel, the biggest trap is waiting for the "right time" to start talking. Here is how to break out and start speaking for real, no matter where you are: 1. Stop Waiting for Perfection: Throw away the idea that your grammar needs to be flawless or your vocabulary massive. If you wait until you know every single word, you'll never say a single sentence. Speak broken Hebrew right now, because practice makes perfect and fluency only comes through mistakes. 2. Build Your Own "Mini-Israel": Force Hebrew into your daily routine. Change your phone settings, listen to Hebrew podcasts while walking, and talk out loud to yourself while cooking. If you don't have locals around, you've got to become your own daily immersion partner. 3. Consume Content You Actually Love: People always tell you to watch kids' shows because they're easy, but let's be real: most of them aren't interesting enough to keep you hooked. Skip the children's stuff and watch actual Israeli TV shows or movies with subtitles. Even if you only catch a fraction, engaging with stuff you genuinely enjoy keeps you motivated. Bottom line: Practice makes perfect. Don't wait for perfection and don't wait to move to Israel. Passion and action beat waiting every single time.

Today is Tanabata. It is a traditional Japanese festival. On this day, people write their wishes on colorful strips of paper and pray that their dreams will come true. When Tanabata comes, I always feel that summer has started. However, Japan is very humid during this season. I really want the rainy season to end soon so that I can enjoy sunny summer days.

In a university English lecture, we covered the topic of corporal punishment. I presented on the side that argues corporal punishment is necessary. In fact, I have seen people's behavior improve as a result of corporal punishment. Of course, excessive corporal punishment is bad, but I believe that society can improve if there is some kind of oversight.

Yesterday I did not have a part-time job. I stayed at home and cleaned my room. I threw away some trash and some clothes that I did not need anymore. My room became much cleaner after that. I felt happy because everything looked nice. I want to keep my room clean every day from now on.

Today, I went to school and attended all of my classes. I studied hard and talked with my friends during the breaks. After school, I went straight home because I was feeling tired. I decided to go to bed early so that I could get enough rest. Before going to sleep, I finished my homework and prepared for tomorrow. I hope I will have more energy in the morning. It was a simple but relaxing day.

Question for English language learners. If you could speak to someone from the United States what would you want to talk about? What's something that you'd love to learn about the US? What topics do you love to talk about with your friends?
