Today, I slept very well. I think I really needed a good night’s sleep. Recently, I have been reading a book for Bibliobattle, and I think it is very interesting. It has made me interested in Russian literature. Now, I am going swimming for some exercise. I hope I can sleep well again tonight because I want to have enough energy for tomorrow.

I have some tests starting around next week, so I know I need to begin studying soon. If I wait until the last minute, I will probably feel stressed and forget important things. I want to prepare little by little every day so that I can do my best on the tests and get good results.

Hello everyone! 👋
Episode 5 of Season 2 of T.E.A. Time is here: "Apps for Everyone."
This one's about a Ben Rector concert, a half-price appetizer deal, and a word you already use every day without thinking twice about where it came from. Listen in to find out what it actually means, and why English loves to shorten its words this way.
Every episode comes with a full transcript, so you can read along while you listen.
I'd love to know: what's one shortened word in your own language that you use all the time? Drop a comment below!
Until next time,

Hello everyone! 👋
Episode 4 of Season 2 of T.E.A. Time is here: "No Sweat."
This one starts with a road trip gone wrong, our A/C dying in the middle of a Texas highway, and leads into an expression you've probably heard from a coach or a manager before. It's a phrase that's mathematically impossible, but makes perfect sense once you hear it in context. Listen in to find out what it is!
Every episode comes with a full transcript, so you can read along while you listen.
I'd love to know: is there an area of your life right now where you've been giving 80 or 90 percent? What would it look like to give it a little more? Drop a comment below!
Until next time,
Tayvin

Today I went to school at 10:00 a.m. and attended my classes. Recently, I have been feeling very negative, and I have not had much energy or motivation to do anything. However, after school, one of my friends came to my house, and we spent time together. We talked, relaxed, and had fun. It made me feel much better, and I was really happy. Overall, it was a good day.

I watched the World Cup match Brazil while I was working. Japan scored the first goal, and the team played very well at the beginning. I really thought, “We can win this game!” But Brazil came back, and Japan lost. I was very disappointed. After the match, I watched the players’ interviews, and they made me emotional. They fought until the end and never gave up. I want to say thank you to all the players because they did their best and made many fans proud.

Today I watched a soccer game in the morning. It was a game between Japan and Brazil. Japan lost the game, but it was a very close match. All the players did their best until the end. I enjoyed watching the game very much. I hope Japan will win the next game and keep playing well.

Today is sunny for the first time in a long time, and I feel very happy. Yesterday was the last day of my part-time job after working there for a year. To celebrate, the manager let me eat anything I wanted and even bought me some Haagen-Dazs ice cream. I ate a lot of delicious food, so I was very full and enjoyed my last day at work.
