I just published a new episode of Italian Citizenship Journey, and this time we talk about one of the biggest frustrations for Italian learners and citizenship students: listening comprehension.
If you’ve ever thought:
“I can read Italian… but when Italians speak, I understand nothing!”
…this episode is for you 😊
We talk about:
✨ why real Italian feels so difficult at first
✨ the difference between textbook Italian and real-life Italian
✨ what the B1 citizenship exam actually expects from you
✨ and how to improve your listening skills without panicking over every single word
I hope this episode helps you feel a little less overwhelmed and a little more confident with real spoken Italian!

Stop learning just words. Learn the Polish mentality! 🇵🇱
Ever noticed how Polish people can sound super direct? (English speakers: No, we aren't mad at you! 😂 Italian speakers: We love deep conversations, we just use fewer gestures!)
To truly speak Polish, you have to understand how we think.
That’s where I come in. My teaching philosophy is simple: How I talk, you walk.
I don't just lecture you, I give you the tools, and you immediately put them into action. No boring drills, just real, practical, cultural Polish from day one.
Ready to stop translating in your head and start thinking like a local?

Hi, Chinese learners,
In this episode, I’ve put together a short, easy-to-follow love story using simple HSK 1–2 grammar and vocabulary. We'll go sentence-by-sentence so you can listen, repeat, and build your confidence at your own pace. Hope you like the practice! 😊

In global communication, offering feedback usually involves starting with a positive note before suggesting changes. This helps keep the conversation collaborative. A native speaker reviews your draft and says: "This is a great start! I have a few thoughts on how we can expand it."
What is the best way to understand this type of professional feedback?
The draft is perfect and needs no changes.
The work is good, but expects adjustments.
They need a new draft and want to restart.
