English tutor Alice here!
Tell me about your favorite Holiday!
Did you know in the US that holiday doesn't mean vacation. It means an observed day that is celebrated across the country by many people.
I celebrate Halloween. That's my favorite Holiday! :) I love handing out candy on Halloween and dressing up my dog in a costume.
Do you like candy? What's your favorite candy?

English tutor Alice here: Do you have a question about living in the United States?
I've lived in the United States my entire life. I lived in Ohio which is in the Midwest for most of my life then I moved to Kentucky.
Get to know me by asking me a question about where I live.
Tell me about the country that you live in.

Hi! I’m Vicente, a native Spanish speaker from Spain, and I’m looking for a regular language exchange partner.
We can speak for 30 minutes in Spanish and 30 minutes in English. We can correct each other, practise everyday conversations and talk about different topics.
My English level is B1. I’m looking for someone friendly, patient and genuinely interested in practising regularly.
If you’re interested, send me a message and we can arrange a video call!

One thing I've learned a tutor that teaches American English that it's very common for students wanting to learn how to speak American English... only half of them actually watch American English TV shows or Movies.
Some only watch/listen to BBC.
If you only watch BBC or maybe watch one American English tv show on a rare occasion.... like in the background when you're doing chores... then that isn't going to improve your American English speaking.
Find a show that interests you. Two I suggest is 'Friends' and 'Seinfeld.' You could also try 'The Office.' And watch those on a regular basis. Start with using subtitles if you have to.
