Man, that got my teacher instincts all riled up. I couldn't just let that slide, you know? So, I strolled right up to them and we got to talking. 先週ドイツに来てから初めて寿司を作りました。
大家さんのお孫さんが寿司を作ったというのを聞いて、私も作ってみようと思ったことがきっかけでした。
寿司を作るには魚などの具材、すし飯、のりが必要です。
のりとお米、寿司飯（すしめし）を作るのに必要な米のお酢は近くのスーパーでも売っていました。
しかし、私が住んでいるドイツの田舎町では生の魚がほとんど手に入りません。
近くのスーパーにカニかまぼこがあったので、それとアボガドを使い、カリフォルニアロールをつくることにしました。
まず、すし飯を用意しました。ご飯を炊くにも私の家には炊飯器がないので、鍋で炊かなければなりません。また、寿司飯には専用のお酢が必要です。日本なら寿司酢(すしず)という商品が売っていますが、ドイツでは砂糖を加えて自分で作らないといけません。

面倒なことが多かったのですが、上手くできました。
寿司を作るのは久しぶりだったので、Youtubeで作り方を何度も確認してから作りました。
ちなみにドイツに住んでいる日本人はスモークサーモンを使ってお寿司を作ることが多いようです。
次回はスモークサーモンを使って作ってみたいと思います。
