El yoga con calor (también llamado Hot Yoga) hace que los pulmones y el corazón trabajen más y, como en las sesiones sin calor, esta práctica te ayuda a mejorar la fuerza y la flexibilidad.

* Beneficio Nº1. Mejora la flexibilidad. Estirar cuando los músculos se han calentado (como se hace en el Hot Yoga) aumenta la flexibilidad y mejora la amplitud de movimiento de las articulaciones. Un estudio de marzo de 2013 del Journal of Strength and Conditioning Research demostró que, tras 8 semanas, las personas que practicaron hot yoga tenían más flexibilidad en los hombros, la zona lumbar y los isquiotibiales que el grupo de control. La flexibilidad ayuda a adoptar determinadas posturas de yoga con más facilidad, sobre todo las que requieren un estiramiento profundo. Además, el yoga fortalece los músculos. El mismo estudio demostró que los participantes podían levantar más en peso muerto.

* Beneficio Nº2. Aumenta la capacidad pulmonar. Como el yoga se centra en técnicas de respiración y te enseña a concentrarte al inspirar y espirar, entrena los pulmones para retener más aire. Respirar hondo habitualmente permite que entre más oxígeno en el flujo sanguíneo, mantiene los pulmones sanos y aumenta la capacidad pulmonar, que suele disminuir con la edad. El pranayama es un tipo de ejercicios de yoga concreto que se centra en controlar la respiración durante un periodo de tiempo determinado. En él, se trabaja la respiración abdominal, la torácica y la clavicular, lo que te ayuda a maximizar la entrada de oxígeno.

It is estimated that about 40 per cent of the world’s population use social media, and many of these billions of social media users look up to influencers to help them decide what to buy and what trends to follow.

So what is an influencer and how do we become one?
An influencer is a person who can influence the decisions of their followers because of their relationship with their audience and their knowledge and expertise in a particular area, e.g. fashion, travel or technology.

Influencers often have a large following of people who pay close attention to their views. They have the power to persuade people to buy things, and influencers are now seen by many companies as a direct way to customers’ hearts. Brands are now asking powerful influencers to market their products. With some influencers charging up to $25,000 for one social media post, it is no surprise that more and more people are keen to become influencers too. If you are one of them, then here are five tips on how to do it.

1. Choose your niche
What is the area that you know most about? What do you feel most excited talking about? Find the specific area that you’re most interested in and develop it.

2. Choose your medium and write an interesting bio
Most influencers these days are bloggers and micro-bloggers. Decide which medium – such as your own online blog, Instagram or Snapchat – is the best way to connect with your followers and chat about your niche area. When you have done that, write an attention-grabbing bio that describes you and your speciality area in an interesting and unique way. Make sure that people who read your bio will want to follow you.

3. Post regularly and consistently
Many influencers post daily on their social media accounts. The more you post, the more likely people will follow you. Also, ensure that your posts are consistent and possibly follow a theme.

Humans love stories. From a young age, we hear them, tell them, write them and watch them. As we get older, they're still a big part of our lives.

We tell stories every day, whether it's at work or when we tell a friend about the things we're doing in our lives.

And stories might just be one of the secrets to giving a good business presentation. "Stories connect with people much more than statistics," says Mahnoor Sheikh from Visme, a presentation company.

And with any business presentation, you want to leave an impression on the people you're presenting to.

To do this, according to the team from jobs website Indeed, you first have to understand your audience. Who are they? What do they need to know to get excited about what you have to say?

During your presentation, you want to share your own enthusiasm with the audience and involve them with eye contact, says TED curator Chris Anderson.

To begin, the Indeed team says, you need to prepare a strong start to your presentation, which will let you form a connection with your audience.

Next, you have to keep that connection — and you have to be careful.

If you're using presentation software, keep your slides simple. They're just there to help you communicate, says Sheikh. If they're full of text, people may begin reading the slides and stop listening to you.

And don't read from a teleprompter, says Anderson. If you do, you'll lose your connection with the audience. Either memorize your presentation, or use brief points on cards or slides to guide you.

Finally, Indeed says, give the audience something to think about when they leave the room. You had a strong start — now finish telling your story in the same way!

It's also important to have done your research — because you may have to answer questions from your audience at the end!
