Is this question of 'how' or is it about 'who'? Have you seriously considered booking a teacher? You might find that they are resilient... reliable... knowledgeable. They are genuinely committed. Some might even have intelligence. Fantastic! They might have valuable skills or traits such as a wide vocabulary with a love of words, active listening and responsive empathy, intellectual curiosity and wisdom, humour and friendliness, adaptablility and vast experience. And some may even have correct pronunciation, grammar, syntax. They could be former scientists or artists or sporting folk; they might be didactic or student-centred teachers. They might have teaching qualifications (or not 😒). You can study their profiles. You can watch a short video (or ten, if you dare - but stay away from mine.). You can ask for recommendations from other students. You can take a trial class with anyone. I can guarantee, you'll improve your chances of making better progress with someone who knows what they are doing. If you can make a connection with a teacher who is always there for you (no matter what); an expert, who may even become a friend, that is worth everything when compared to years and years of pointlessly chatting randomly to unqualified strangers of varying levels of aptitude (who may even send you backwards or introduce or ignore errors with little ability for correction). That's how to approach the question of 'how' and 'who?' But it's also a question of 'why?' beacause finding 'you' will help you find 'who else?'. Think about getting to know YOURSELF as much as you can. Find your faults. Accept them. Question your own ideas. Work at who discovering who you are. Seek to surround your self with those you see as being more intelligent, more aware, more content, more wise. A wide variety of individuals, even with competing perspectives.
