cafezinho

In Brazil it is normal for people to use<strike>s</strike>, for example : coffee in portuguese is café, cafezinho is a diminutive form from café, in the end of the word "inho" is a diminutive suffix. This diminitive sufix is used when people want<strike>s</strike> to show empathy,  one more <strike>one</strike> example: I am drinking a beer in a bar, and suddenly <strike>arrrives</strike> a close friend arrives , so i invite him to drink a beer with me, i say in portuguese, "Vamos tomar uma cervejinha?" In portuguese it is cerveja, in english it is beer, a diminutive form in portuguese is cervejinha, people <strike>used to</strike> talk like this when they want to show Kindness, gentleness. In English how do you use this form ?
