A Family Outing Which Turned Out to Be A Disaster Little did we know that a trip on a relaxing sunny day was actually a disaster in disguise. My father had suggested talking a trip to the countryside. We set off immediately with excitement. We were all looking forward to it. There was a suspicious scent of danger in the air. When we passed some mountains along the deserted highway, we seemed to hear a rumble and the road was vibrating. Suddenly, something landed on us, something like landslide! We were trapped in the car and the next few hours was the most terrifying moments of our lives. The air was getting thinner and our bodies were getting weaker. We were starting to lose consciousness when we saw a ray of light. Somehow there were people who were trying to save us. After half an hour, we were safely out of the car. Although we only suffered minor injuries, our bodies were very weak. The rescue team told us that we were really lucky despite the danger of the landslide. I was shocked to see the damage caused by the landslide and realized that it was a miracle for us to be alive. Now my family and i still use that highway. I will never forget the family outing which strengthened our bond after a close have with death. We now appreciate each other more and cherish all the moments we have together.
