Is Arabic a difficult language for beginners?

To answer your question though: I'm learning Arabic and I'd say that it depends. If you just want to speak Arabic (generally) then yes its easy just like any other language, all you need is practice and motivation. But if you want to study Arabic literature / Quran then you would need to know Arabic grammar thoroughly, which most find difficult at first. But again you won't find it difficult if your passionate about it. :D Once you say 'it's too difficult' or 'I can't do it' then you'll never succeed.
