In addition, I would say that some other significant... differences between American English and British English is the use of 'u' (in British English) and 'o' (in American English); e.g. mum / mom; colour / color and so on. Also I think the use of 's' and 'z' is quite variable between British English and American English. Typically though, my mind has gone blank thinking of an example! I think the table is wrong. Both would write connection but complexion (connexion can be used in English but is rare). Judgement is more common in Britain and judgment in the US, although both are acceptable either side of the Atlantic. Oecology is wrong. it's ecology. English is also starting to use the American English ize endings more and more, especially for -ization. The others look correct. There's a great dictionary for this. type askoxford.com - you can switch between English and American English at the bottom of the page for each word.
