Bai Pathway in the West Lake 白堤

Today‘s essay maybe boring，hehe.

Today, I walked on the Bai Pathway in the West Lake.  (Today, I walked on it.)
今天我去白堤走了走。

It was constructed by a great poet named Bai Juyi one thousand years ago.
它是由大诗人白居易在千年前建立的。

Naturally, he wrote a beautiful poem for it.  I liked these lines the most:
当然他留下了千古流芳名篇，我爱死其中的一句了。

“乱花渐欲迷人眼 浅草才能没（mo4）马蹄”

I know the proper interpretation is, "In spring so many flowers bloom, your eyes do not have time to rest (from gazing at too many flowers); thus, you will feel like you're in a daze."

But I like to imagine it means this instead: "In spring, flowers are flying in the air, blocking your eyes."
It's more romantic.
