I would advise you to learn the nouns in Marathi along with their gender. This will save you further confusion as you go deep into learning Marathi grammar. So whenever you learn a new noun make sure you also learn it's gender at the same time (masculine / पुल्लिंग, feminine / स्त्रीलिंग, neuter / नपुंसकलिंग).
