Hi, I am a college student and major in English. Why did i choose this subject? Because my mother wants me to choose it. To be honest, I am not willing to learn it, l like maths, chemistry, physics，biology. I am a student of science when I was in high school. That's great that your learning English! But I think the first thing that needs to happen before you learn any language is to develop an interest in it. It will take much longer to reach fluency if you learn the language reluctantly. So give yourself some good reasons to learn English, and you'll do fine!
